ARtrax sessions are designed for students of all levels of ability for creation of original art in response to a Scriptural theme. Sessions begin with prayer and Scripture reading related to the chosen theme. Instruction is provided in a specific art media. Inspiration expands through exploration of the works of famous artists, original art samples, and inspirational music. Students learn Composition utilizing the seven Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Color, Value, Form, Texture, and Space, as well as learning the Principles of Design: Balance, Contrast, Emphasis, Proportion, Unity, Movement/Rhythm, and Pattern. Students are encouraged to share their faith journey, ask questions, and use First Commandment discipline.
Classes held at Wood Rose Studio, 1484 Wait Ave (Rt. 98), Wake Forest OR sessions can be provided at another location for a fee.
